Rhoptropus diporus (Haacke), 1965 Afrikaans: Bradfield se namibdaggetjie by Twyfelfontein in noordwestelike Namibië. Die spesie het 'n beperkte verspreiding en is endemies aan Namibië. Die betrokke ras word slegs noord van die Brandberg aangetref, terwyl 'n tweede ras slegs suid van die Brandberg gevind word.

Branch, B. & W. P. Koella, (1988). A Field Guide to the Snakes and Other Reptiles of Southern Africa, mentions two subspecies. R. b. bradfieldi is stated as only occurring south of Brandberg, while R. b. diporus occurs north of that mountain. This specimen was photographed at Twyfelfontein, about 60 km North of Brandberg. R. bradfieldi is endemic to Namibia and the two subspecies occur in only a small area in two virtually disjunct zones.
