English: Depiction of the Battle of Öland in 1676, between the combined Danish-Dutch fleet, commanded by Cornelis Tromp, and the Swedish fleet commanded by Lorentz Creutz. The battle was a major failure for the Swedes since they lost two of their largest ships, Kronan (foundered by accident) and Svärdet (sunk by a Dutch fireship) with a loss of close to 1,200 men.
Svenska: Bild av tre faser av slaget vid Ölands södra udde 1676, mellan en dansk-holländsk flotta under ledning av Cornelis Trompo och en svensk flotta under ledning av Lorentz Creutz. Slaget var ett stort nederlad för den svenska sidan eftersom man förlorade sina två största skepp, Kronan (som kantrade) och Svärdet (sänkt av en holländsk brännare) med en förlust på närmare 1200 man.
