The gantry crane marks the entrance of the museum port, reserved for boats that have a historic notability. The cutter "Gadus" is a vessel from the university of Rostock. You'll see two decommissioned rescue cruisers, too; the yellow stack is from the MS Deneb (IMO 9079470), a research vessel. The ship in the background is the decommissioned icebreaker Stephan Jantzen.

Der Portalkran markiert die Einfahrt in den rechts gelegenen Museumshafen, welcher für Schiffe und Boote mit historischer Bedeutsamkeit reservierte Liegeplätze bereithält. Der Kutter Gadus ist ein Fahrzeug der Rostocker Universität; die beiden Seenotrettungskreuzer stehen nicht mehr im Dienst. Der gelbe Abgaspfosten links im Bild gehört zum BSH-Forschungsschiff Deneb (IMO 9079470); im Hintergrund ist der Eisbrecher Stephan Jantzen zu sehen.
