American graphic designers of the 1890\'s were greatly influenced by European poster design. Commercial manufacturers commissioned posters for billboards and locations such as streetcars. Graphic advertising quickly became an industry. This poster by Will H. Bradley, one of the leading designers of the time, is a striking example of Amercian Art Nouveau.
