Description

So this is my first attempt at astrophotography.

Climbed out of bed in the early hours of the morning and ventured into the National Park to take astrophotos. Under the watchful, and very helpful, eyes of luke peterson I took a photo of the Milky Way. I (yes, little old me), took a photo... of a galaxy! I can't explain the moment or the feelings associated with seeing it on the camera screen, as cheesy as it sounds it was a bit of a life changing moment. There is something very special about astro and I am very keen to get out again soon.
