Français : les Flatirons (Trad. « Fers à repasser » près de Boulder, dans le Colorado, aux Etats-Unis. Le terme de Flatirons est employé par les américains pour désigner une structure monoclinale où une couche dure de même inclinaison mais de pendage supérieur à la pente topographique ressort à mi-pente. Les vallons qui dissèquent cette pente découpent dans cette dalle des forme triangulaires, planes et inclinées qui rappellent des semelles de fer à repasser. Image panoramique obtenue en assemblant trois clichés.
