English: Pico Humboldt is Venezuela's second highest peak, at 4,940 metres above sea level. It is located in the Sierra Nevada de Merida, in the Venezuelan Andes of (Mérida State). The peak with its sister peak Pico Bonpland, and the surrounding páramos are protected by the Sierra Nevada National Park. The glacier is the largest in the country and has been declining for the problem of global warming. In this case we find several colleagues across the ice according to the latest measurements reached 30 km. To get there, it took five days of walking.
Español: El Pico Humboldt es el segundo pico más alto de Venezuela, 4.940 metros sobre el nivel del mar. Se encuentra ubicado en la Sierra Nevada de Mérida, en los Andes venezolanos. El pico junto a su hermano Pico Bonpland, y los páramos circundantes están protegidos por el Parque Nacional Sierra Nevada. El glaciar en su cuspide es el más grande del país y ha estado disminuyendo por el problema del calentamiento global. En este caso, nos encontramos con varios colegas a través del hielo, según las últimas mediciones alcanzó los 30 km. Para llegar a ella, le tomó cinco días de caminata.
