Deutsch: Männliche Große Heidelibelle (Sympetrum striolatum) im Naturschutzgebiet Cuxhavener Küstenheiden. Beachte die hellen Thorax-Seitenbinden und die an den Augen endende Stirnzeichnung (siehe Bild unten), die die Große Heidelibelle von der sehr ähnlichen Gemeinen Heidelibelle (Sympetrum vulgatum) unterscheidet.
English: Male Common Darter (Sympetrum striolatum) in the nature reserve Cuxhavener Küstenheiden, northern Lower Saxony, Germany. Consider the bright Thorax-side bandages and the forehead drawing, ending at the eyes (see picture below) which distinguishes the Common Darter from the very similar Vagrant Darter (Sympetrum vulgatum).
Français : Un Sympétrum strié (Sympetrum striolatum) mâle dans la réserve naturelle de Cuxhavener Küstenheiden, dans le nord de la Basse-Saxe en Allemagne. Remarquez les « stries » de couleur vive sur le thorax et les motifs sur le front (s'arrêtant aux yeux, voir photo ci-dessous) qui permettent de distinguer le Sympétrum strié du très semblable Sympétrum commun (Sympetrum vulgatum).
