Русский: Dinteranthus microspermus — редкие суперсуккулентные (водозапасающие) растения, произрастающие в Капской провинции Южной Африки. Род Динтерантус назван в честь исследователя флоры Южной Африки Морица Динтера. В названии вида использованы латинские термины: micros — маленький и spermum - семя. У этого вида семена пылевидные, что затрудняет их выращивание.

Диаметр пары сросшихся листьев 2 см. Мелкие зеленоватые точки на листьях — это «оконца», сквозь которые проникает солнечный свет. Вся остальная часть листьев покрыта мелкими кристаллами оксалата кальция, отражающего солнечные лучи.

Этим растениям 15 лет, выращены автором из семян в условиях Западной Сибири.
