Description

Single shot of a "Pellucid Fly" (Volucella pellucens), one of the UK's largest flies, taken at f/7.1, 1/80 sec, ISO-100 with Powershot SX40 HS with Raynox M-150, 270EX II flash and DIY Pringles Can snoot. The fly along with numerous bees, wasps and other flies was visiting the flowers on the mint in the garden.
