Description
English: The control room of the Alcator C tokamak at the MIT Plasma Science and Fusion Center (at the time, the Plasma Fusion Center), in about 1982–1983. The tokamak was in the "cell" underneath this control room.

Photo taken circa 1982–1983 by PSFC photographer Ron Levenson and printed to an 8×10 print on glossy paper kept by PSFC Outreach Coordinator Paul Rivenberg. Scanned on CanoScan LiDE 60 2012-04-02 by Geoff Olynyk. Scanned at 600 dpi, then processed in Adobe Photoshop CS5: dust and scratch removal, auto colour, auto contrast, auto tone, crop away white edges, and downsample to 300 dpi. Uploaded to Wikimedia Commons by Geoff Olynyk on Tuesday 2012-04-03.
