30 June 2016-Chicago, Illinois- Secretary of Labor Thomas Perez (center) discusses the importance of financial literacy and the work being done by organizations such as the Center for Economic Progress, which provided financial literacy classes, counseling and tax assistance in Chicago. Perez attended a round table along with from left: Senator Dick Durbin of Illinois, David Marzahl, president and CEO Center for Economic Progress and Illinois State Treasurer Michael Frerichs and Roberto Montano, a volunteer financial counselor at Center for Economic Progress.
