فارسی: علی ربیعی (زاده ۱۳۳۴) معروف به عباد، سیاستمدار اصلاح‌طلب و وزیر تعاون، کار و رفاه اجتماعی جمهوری اسلامی ایران است. او که زاده جنوب تهران است پیش از انقلاب تکنسین کارخانه‌هایی چون ارج بود و پس از انقلاب اسلامی تا ۱۳۶۰ مسئول شاخه کارگری حزب جمهوری اسلامی شد. ربیعی عضو سپاه پاسداران شد و از فرماندهان آن بود. از آغاز انقلاب وی عضو مؤسس و عضو شورای مرکزی خانه کارگر بوده است. او از ۱۳۶۶ تا ۱۳۷۲ در دورهٔ وزارت محمد ری شهری و علی فلاحیان، معاون حقوقی و پارلمانی وزارت اطلاعات و از ۱۳۷۲ تا ۱۳۸۴ مسئول اجرایی و مسئول کمیته تبلیغات دبیرخانه شورای عالی امنیت ملی بوده است. از ۱۳۷۶ تا ۱۳۸۴ مشاور اجتماعی رئیس‌جمهور سید محمد خاتمی بود. ربیعی در جریان تبلیغات انتخابات ریاست جمهوری ایران (۱۳۸۸) از اعضای اصلی ستاد میرحسین موسوی از نامزدهای معترض به نتایج انتخابات بود؛ که البته پس از اعلام نهایی انتخابات موضع خاصی علیه برنده انتخابات نگرفت و به نتیجه تمکین نمود.
English: Ali Rabei (Persian: علی ربیعی‎‎, born 6 December 1955) is an Iranian politician and sociologist and the country's Minister of Labour. He was an adviser to the former President Mohammad Khatami from 1997 to 2005 and also of House of Labour from 2006 to 2012. On 4 August 2013, he was nominated for as minister of labour to the incumbent cabinet by Hassan Rouhani. He is also professor at Payame Noor University.
