La Squadra Corse Alfa Romeo, di ritorno dalla vittoriosa trasferta a Pescara, viene ricevuta a Villa Torlonia da Benito Mussolini che entra nell'abitacolo dell'Alfa Romeo P3 2600, con la quale Tazio Nuvolari ha conquistato la prestigiosa Coppa Acerbo, così cumulando i titoli di Campione italiano e Campione internazionale. Da sinistra: Decimo Compagnoni (meccanico di Nuvolari), Enzo Ferrari, Benito Mussolini, Prospero Gianferrari (dirigente Alfa Romeo), Tazio Nuvolari, Achille Varzi e Rudolf Caracciola.
