Description

Innocent Ocan, 25, at work in Electromart in Gulu, the Northern Region of Uganda.

  • Innocent has just completed a two year course in electrical engineering at the Northern Uganda Youth Development Centre.
  • Now he installs the electrical equipment and wiring that customers buy at the Electromart.
  • A former child soldier, abducted from his village at the age of 11, Innocent says that the training he received, supported by UK aid, has "opened a door to a new future."
