ARABIAN GULF (June 27, 2014) -- Quartermaster 3rd Class Nikyta Starbird, from Port Richey, Fla., plots the ship's course during a replenishment-at-sea with Military Sealift Command fleet replenishment oiler USNS Joshua Humpreys (T-AO 188) aboard the amphibious transport dock ship USS Mesa Verde (LPD 19). Mesa Verde is part of the Bataan Amphibious Ready Group and, with the embarked 22nd Marine Expeditionary Unit, is deployed in support of maritime security operations and theater security cooperation efforts in the U.S. 5th Fleet area of responsibility.
