South African Deputy Agriculture Minister Pieter Mulder addresses the audience at the U.S. Department of Agriculture Sub-Saharan Africa Trade Initiative’s Business Round Table in Johannesburg, South Africa on Sep. 16, 2013. Agriculture Deputy Secretary Krysta Harden led a trade mission to Sub-Saharan Africa Business Round Table to promote U. S. agricultural trade and investment in the region, which is a long-term goal of the initiative. The trade mission includes 17 U.S. companies and 15 agricultural trade associations that represent a variety of products such as snack foods, beverages, fruit, nuts, and more.
