English: A child approaches members of the Joint Civilian Orientation Conference duirng a school visit in Tadjoura, Djibouti, Oct. 21, 2006. The JCOC participants toured a U.S. Navy Seabee constructions site at a local secondary school, toured a local hospital, and handed out school supplies and soccer balls to the children of the community. JCOC is a seven day conference in which civilian community leaders travel to overseas military bases to get a better understanding of our Armed Forces and the overall mission of the Department of Defense.
