The souvenir sheet of the Soviet Union, 1 stamp×50 kopecks , 15 July 1977, CPA Catalogue No 4717, Michel No 4613, Scott No 4578. Coated paper. Offset printing, varnish coating. Perforation: frame 12×12½. The size of the souvenir sheet: 74×105 mm. The size of the stamp: 37×52 mm. Print run: 1,460,000.
The stamp: Judith by Giorgione (fragment). Circa 1504.
The text on the margins of the souvenir sheet: “500th birth anniversary of Giogione. 1477–1510. Giorgione (Giorgio Barbarelli da Castelfranco} was an Italian painter, one of founders of the art of the High Renaissance.”
