Deutsch: Typische Tätigkeit alter Bauern in Oberkärnten in den 1920er Jahren. Die Frau mit Kopftuch spinnt Wolle an einem Spinnrad auf einer Holzbank im hölzernen Bauernhaus und sitzt an der Wiege der Kleinsten. Das zwischen 1925 und 1927 vom Volkskundler Oswin Moro aufgenommene Foto zeigt Frau Barbara Hinteregger geb. Gruber (19.08.1845-19.04.1927), Frau des Schmiedemeister Johann Hinteregger (16.11.1840-04.12.1930), der die Landschmiede von 1874-1919 führte. Schmiede und Landwirtschaft liegen in Sankt Oswald (Gemeinde Bad Kleinkirchheim) bei Bad Kleinkirchheim in den Nockbergen / Kärnten / Österreich / Europäische Union. Das Fotos ist Teil der Sammlung von Armin Pertl für das Buchprojekt „Urgestein. Auf den Spuren von Oswin Moro in St. Oswald.“ Klagenfurt, 2007.
English: Typical Working at old farmer in Upper Carinthia in the 1920s. The woman spins wool on a spinning wheel and guards the youngest child. She is sitting on a wooden bench in the wooden farmhouse. The picture was takten between 1925-1927 by folklorist Oswin Moro and shows Barbara Hinteregger nee Gruber (19.08.1845-19.04.1927), wife of the blacksmith Johann Hinteregger (16.11.1840-04.12.1930), who run the small company from 1874 to 1919. Forging and agriculture are in St. Oswald in Bad Kleinkirchheim, a small village in the Central Eastern Alps (Nock Mountains) Carinthia / Austria / European Union.
