English: 4 Seasons Challah Cover: Autumn. – Part of a 4 panel challah cover with abstract samplers to represent each season on golden linen Winter, Spring, Summer. Chain stitch is used in a variety of ways: Chain Stitch and Twisted Chain Stitch. Other stitches: french knots, colonial knots, same stitch I can't remember the name of! The embroidery on this panel of the piece is all done in cotton DMC floss. The seems between each panel, which you can see on the right side, have feather stitch in a variegated earth-tone floss. The trim is silk ribbon.
