Painting of Mary I, Queen of England and Ireland. She is wearing a pendant with a large pearl, a gift from king Philip II of Spain on the occasion of their marriage in 1554. The pearl is named 'La Peregrina' (the Wanderer) and was last owned by Elizabeth Taylor.
