Chargé de mission par l’École des chartes à Venise [études des délibérations du Sénat de Venise au xve siècle relatives à l’histoire de France] (1885). Chargé de mission par l’Académie des sciences morales et politiques en Italie [recueil des actes de François Ier] (1886). Auxiliaire attaché aux travaux de l’Académie des sciences morales et politiques, commission chargée de continuer le recueil des ordonnances (1887). — Fonctions. Membre du conseil d’administration de Saint-Gobain (1887). — Distinctions.
