Deutsch: Mondscheinkarte galten auch in Hannover um 1898 als „der letzte Schrei“. Mit dieser blicken wir flussaufwärts über die beiden Seitenarme der Leine in Hannover. Die Sommerbrücke im Zuge der Straße Auf der Insel führt links zum Beginenturm und weiter zur Pferdestraße. Die Brücke rechts im Zuge der verschütteten Inselstraße führte in ihrer Verlängerung direkt auf den Fürstenhof zu. Dieser und ähnliche Ansichten mit Blick auf die Spitze der Leineinsel wurden bis zu den Zerstörungen durch die Luftangriffe auf Hannover gerne als „Klein-Venedig“ tituliert. Im Bild unten links sieht man ein trinkendes Pferd im Wasser, das hierher über die Pferdeschwemme geführt wurde.
