Die Herrschaft Sax-Forstegg war ein historisches Territorium im St. Galler Rheintal, das vom 14. Jahrhundert bis 1798 bestand. Der Name leitet sich von den Freiherren von Sax und der Burg Forstegg her. Sie umfasste die heutige Gemeinde Sennwald und den Weiler Lienz der Gemeinde Altstätten.

The rule-Sax Forstegg was a historical territory in the St. Gallen Rhine Valley, from 14 Century until 1798 existed. The name derives from the Barons of Sax and the castle Forstegg ago. It included the present-day community Sennwald and hamlets of the commune Altstätten Lienz.
