There is a male lion, identified by his shaggy mane, lying down with his paws crossed to the right of a crouching lioness; both are staring at the camera. They are behind metal bars and the foundation of their cage is stone or concrete. In the cage to their left, there is another unidentified large animal. There is a metal ring bolted to the wall between the two cages.
