English: At sea aboard USS Kitty Hawk (CV 63) Nov. 5, 2002 -- During a replenishment at sea (RAS) Quartermaster Seaman Lauren Williams, from Rhode Island, N.Y., maintains a status board on the ship’s bridge, reflecting the current course and speed of the ship. Kitty Hawk and her embarked Carrier Air Wing Five (CVW-5) is currently underway providing a forward presence in the Asian Pacific area of operation, while conducting scheduled training and exercises with regional allies.
