Stratman, commodore of Task Force Overlord, after Butler was awarded the Purple Heart medal for injuries received in an improvised explosive device strike on his route clearance vehicle in Afghanistan. The 8th Engineer Batallion, Trojan Horse, from Fort Hood, Texas, is deployed to Afghanistan with Task Force Overlord. The 25th Naval Construction Regiment, from Gulfport, Miss., is the command and control element for Task Force Overlord, which is responsible for construction engineering and engineering support in Southern, Southwestern and Western Afghanistan.
