English: At sea aboard fleet command ship USS La Salle (AGF 3) Sep. 9, 2002 -- An MH-53E “Sea Dragon” assigned to Helicopter Combat Support Squadron Four (HC-4) spreads a multicolored rainbow across the ship’s flight deck while on final approach for landing aboard the Sixth Fleet Flagship. The primary mission of the MH-53E is airborne mine counter measures (AMCM) which includes mine sweeping, mine neutralization, mine hunting, floating mine destruction, channel marking, and surface towing such as the towing of surface craft and ships. The secondary utility mission involves the movement of cargo and equipment and the transportation of passengers. The La Salle is on a regularly scheduled deployment in the Mediterranean Sea.
