Description

Aid from the UK is supporting the work of UNICEF to ensure that children affected by the crisis in Ivory Coast are protected from violence, abuse and exploitation. UNICEF and other NGOs are also working to re-unite children that have been separated from their families by the violence.

The UK government has recently announced an urgent emergency aid package to help tens of thousands of people affected by the deteriorating humanitarian situation in Liberia and the Ivory Coast.
