Il existe plusieurs tirages de cet ouvrage qui comprennent au moins les six planches de costumes (en hauteur) numérotées de 1 à 6 et, selon les cas, deux ou trois planches (en largeur) non numérotées. Le premier tirage intitulé "Costumes pittoresques de la vallée d'Ossau" et lithographié par E. Vignancour est daté de 1844 ; le tirage dont il est question ici est ultérieur, sans date. On note plusieurs différences entre les différents tirages : les deux dernières planches notamment se distinguent (voir Labarère, Bibliographie pyrénéiste, 486) Dans ce tirage, les titres sont en capitales romaines maigres. La pl. 6 intitulée "Guide aux Eaux-Bonnes" porte les mentions "Chez A. Bassy, Pau" et "Lith. de E. Vignancour," au contraire des autres planches qui portent la mention "Edité et lith. par A. Bassy, à Pau"
