carène oblique, et un groupe de grost^^llIllÉ granules en avant de chaque œil.f ^*«a Pronotum à angles antérieurs obtus et proéminents; les Rh. convexus angles postérieurs sont arrondis et le pourtour en est cilié denov. sp. soies testacées, courtes et épaissies à lextrémité. Sa sculp-ture est la suivante : i° Le long du bord antérieur, unesurface étroite plus ou moins granuleuse; 20 un sillon peu profond etétroit; 3° un bourrelet interrompu en son milieu; h° et 5° un sillon et unbourrelet de même nature que les précédents; 6° un sillon beaucoup pluslarge placé à lendroit où le pronotum atteint sa plus grande largeur;70 un bourrelet interrompu par le sillon basai longitudinal, et dont chaquesection sinfléchit vers la base du pronotum quelle suit en un relief de moinsen moins accentué. A lintérieur du rectangle formé par cet accident, unbourrelet très net et luisant. Toutes ces sculptures natteignent pas le bord latéral du pronotum, et Muséum. Pl. IV.

Les sillons compris entre les bourrelets du pronotum sont dun noirpresque mat, à fond garni de points ombiliqués, espacés et peu distinctsvers le bord antérieur, beaucoup plus accentués et plus visibles dans la ré-gion médio-postérieure. Ecusson arrondi. Eiytres très convexes et nettement costiformes donnantà lInsecte le faciès dun Psammobius (1) ; les côtes impaires à carènes plusaccentuées ; entre ces côtes, des stries géminées caténiformes, et dans lesintervalles de ces stries, une surface plane à granules plus ou moins espacés.Epine humérale forte et assez saillante. Losange métasternal brillant, déprimé dans la région médiane, irrégu-lièrement ponctué vers lavant, etcanaliculé longitudinalement.
