Summaryedit
Description |
English: Chameleon skin. The picture depicts the minute pores with a diameter about 200 nanometers which are in each "segment" of the skin dumped by a chameleon. It should be noted that color of a chameleon doesn't coincide with a surrounding background, and depends on an emotional condition of an animal. If such coincidence turns out, it is mere chance. The chameleon changes coloring at a fright, after a fight with other chameleon when it is taken on hands or at a meeting of an individual of an opposite sex.
