Deutsch: Kleines Rundfuß-Mikroskop von Simon Plössl (Wien um 1850). Zaponiertes Messing, Tubus signiert "Plössl Wien", Prismenstativ mit Grobtrieb, Tisch mit gefedertem Objekthalter und Lochblendenrevolver, Konkavspiegel für Durchlicht, Sammellinse für Auflicht, Aufbewahrungskoffer mit Zubehör.
English: Small round base microscope by Simon Plössl (Vienna 1850). Lacquered brass, barrel signed "Plössl Vienna," Prism stand with coarse, table with spring-loaded specimen holder and pinhole turret, concave mirror for transmitted light, lens for reflected light, carrying case with accessories. Image taken at an exhibition at the Wiener Neustadt civic archive.
