Description
Nederlands: Standbeeld van Peter Pauwel Rubens op de Groenplaats te Antwerpen. Het beeld werd ontworpen door Willem (Guillaume) Geefs (1805-1883) in 1840.

Geefs volgde een opleiding aan de Koninklijke Academie voor Schone Kunsten in Antwerpen (1821-1829). In 1833 werd hij docent aan de Academie in Antwerpen, een jaar later in Brussel.

op de achtergrond zien we de klok van de Onze-Lieve-Vrouwkathedraal.
English: Statue of Peter Paul Rubens on the Groenplaats in Antwerp. The statue was designed by Willem (Guillaume) Geefs (1805-1883).

Geefs received his training at the Royal Academy of Fine Arts in Antwerp (1821-1829). In 1833 he became a teacher at the Academy, a year later at the Academy of Brussels.

In the backgound the clock of Our Lady's Cathedral can be seen.
