|Description||Brand new steam locomotive 60163 Tornado hauls a charter train from London Kings Cross to Edinburgh Waverley on 25 April 2009. The private trip was filmed by the BBC for a Top Gear Race, with James May a.k.a Captain Slow in a vintage Jaguar and Richard hammond on a classic motorbike, racing Jeremy clarkson on the train, but with the car and bike only allowed to use A roads.
Tornado was booked to leave London at 07.25 BST and arrive in Edinburgh at 15.27 BST. Booked timesThe train is pictured here passing through Newcastle Central Station on time at 13.09 BST (GMT+1), but is believed to have arrived early in Edinburgh.
