Español: Cruceiro de Colón, en Bayona. Debe su nombre a que está situado en la glorieta de Colón, en la zona nueva de la villa. Éste es el tercer cruceiro que ocupa esta glorieta. Los dos anterior fueron destruidos por la colisión de vehículos. El primero fue destruido en 2006 y el segundo en abril de 2011. El cruceiro actual es obra de la Escuela de Canteros de la Diputación de Pontevedra. Está hecho con granito y pesa 2.000 kilos. Tiene una altura de 5,05 metros,. Su fuste mide 2,6 metros de alto y tiene en su cara frontal dos imágenes: abajo un Santiago Peregrino y arriba la Virgen del Carmen. En la cara frontal de la cruz se ve a Cristo crucificado y a San Francisco de Asís recogiendo su sangre, y sobre los brazos de la cruz hay dos ángeles sujetando el INRI. En la parte posterior de la cruz hay una representación de la Piedad con Cristo sobre sus rodillas.
English: Cross of Columbus, in Bayona. It owes its name to the roundabout of Columbus where is located, in the new part of the town. This is the third cross which occupies this roundabout. The previous two were destroyed by the collision of vehicles. The first was destroyed in 2006 and the second in April 2011. The current cross is the work of the School of Stonemasons of the Pontevedra Provincial Council. It is made of granite and weighs 2,000 kilos. It has a height of 5.05 meters. The trunk measures 2.6 meters high and has on its front two images: down a Saint James Pilgrim and above the Virgin of Carmel. In the front of the cross is Christ crucified and St. Francis of Assisi collecting their blood, and on the arms of the cross are two angels holding the INRI. In the back of the cross is a depiction of the Pieta with Christ on her knees.
