Summaryedit

Description

The text reads: «This Cathedral church was constructed of white stone in 1152 by Grand Duke Georgy Vladimirovich Dolgorukiy, and well decorated by his son, Grand Duke Andrei Bogolyubsky. But in this form it existed for only 86 years, for in 1238, 1252 and 1281 was sacked and devastated by the tatars. In 1293 was burned by Duke Andrey of Gorodets.
