A igreja atual foi construída dois séculos mais tarde.

The original temple was founded in the 12th century by order of Alfonso I, "The Battler" to offer the french people who helped him in the Battle of Cutanda (1120) against the Almoravids and stayed definitely in Calatayud a place to pray, but the current church was built 2 centuries later. Українська: Алтар готичної церкви Сан-Педро-де-лос-Франкос в місті Калатаюд, Арагон, Іспанія. Церква була побудована в 12 сторіччі за наказом короля Арагону Альфонсо I для того, щоб предоставити французам, які допомогали йому в битві при Кутанді (1120), місце для молитви. Церква була перебудована через 2 сторіччя.
