Description
English: Focke Wulf Fw 190 A-8 of JG 4, flown Pvt. Wagner; the aircraft was downed by american anti-aircraft fire during operation "Bodenplatte". It was captured by american troops after making an emergency landing. The ETC 501 was removed and the engine repaired for ground trials.
Deutsch: Focke Wulf Fw 190 A-8 des JG 4, geflogen von Gefr. Wagner. Die Maschine wurde während der Operation Bodenplatte von amerikanischer Flak abgeschossen und nach einer Notlandung erbeutet. Der ETC 501-Rumpfpylon wurde entfernt und der Motor durch die Amerikaner für Bodenläufe instand gesetzt.
