Description
English: Using a simple model of the town they are assaulting, Marines with E Company, 2nd Battalion, 7th Marine Regiment, review their upcoming mission near the flight line at the Marine Corps Air Station in Yuma, Ariz., before a helicopter raid training exercise Oct. 10, 2009. Loading on to MV-22 Osprey aircraft in Yuma, the company's 1st Platoon flew to an urban training range in Twentynine Palms, Calif., in order to capture an insurgent leader, simulating a mission they could be called to perform during their next deployment. The battalion, based in Twentynine Palms, is scheduled to deploy with the 31st Marine Expeditionary Unit in early 2010, with E Company assigned to specialize in helicopter insertions and raids.
