English: PACIFIC OCEAN (Sept. 10, 2008) Aviation Boatswain's Mate (Handling) 1st Class Kenji Kimura, assigned to the aircraft carrier USS George Washington (CVN 73), directs an SH-60F Sea Hawk helicopter during an ammunition onload with the Military Sealift Command dry cargo and ammunition Ship USNS Alan Shepard (T-AKE 3). George Washington is training with Carrier Air-Wing (CAV) 5 during a transit to Japan where the ship will replace aircraft carrier USS Kitty Hawk (CV 63) as the U.S. Navy's only forward-deployed aircraft carrier.
