|Description||St. Patricks day parade in Grand Ledge Michigan 2008|
|Date||15 March 2008|
(Reusing this file)
There seems to be something odd about the picture .. I can not recall a time in recent michigan history where in the middle of March the tree's were full of leaves as in the photo. Buds maybe on tree's that time of year .. The picture is of a parade that is true but I question the date.
This is not the Grand Ledge St Patrick's Day parade. I live in Grand Ledge, and this is not downtown Grand Ledge. The parade is always the week before St Patrick's Day. There has never been trees in full bud at the parade. This is different parade.
FAKE Picture of March 15th
I looked up the weather history for that day in Grand Ledge Michigain and it started with a a Low of 24 degrees F ... and got up to a whoopin 41 F ... so the picture shows people in Tank tops and all kinds of summer clothing .. YOU can NOT trust what you see on Wiki .. it could be a May parade .. the original poster of the Picture grabbed a picture showing guys in Green Kilts and gave it a False Label. I wish there was a way to get that Photo off Wiki, as it is not True, and promotes a Lie as to what March weather is like here in Michigan. Jackets and warm gloves were probably in order for that day's Parade .. not tank tops, shorts and open toe sandels. The other dead give away was the Tree's in the Photo are in Full Leaf .. Something you will never see in Michigan that time of Year.
