English: Two small Claas Crop Tiger combine harvesters at work on a field in Kerala, India. These combines are manufactured by Claas India and are mainly sold throughout Asia. On the left (in the background) is a Claas Crop Tiger 30 terra trac with a Claas C 210 header (2,10 m cutting width), and on the right (in the foreground) is another Claas Crop Tiger, one of the earlier versions of the Crop Tiger 30 presumably. – These Grain Harvesting Machines are used to harvest grains and the edible brans or fruit seeds of cereal crops. Our Combine Harvester is a machine that combines elegantly the tasks of harvesting, threshing and cleaning grain crops. The objective is to complete these three essential agricultural processes, in one pass of the machine over a particular part of the field. The various types of crops which are commonly harvested by our combined harvester include wheat, rye, barley, oats, corn (maize), soybeans and flax (linseed). Harvesting crops involves getting the crop out of the field and transport the same to the market. Most crops are harvested in the fall, except for hay that is cut several times over the course of the summer. Field crops are commonly harvested by machine, while small fruits and other food crops are typically harvested by hand, although in some cases, these may be harvested by machine.
