বাংলা: থানকুনি; বৈজ্ঞানিক নাম সেন্টেলা এশিয়াটিকা। ইংরেজীতে Centella বা Indian pennywort বলা হয়। ঔষধি গাছ হিসেবে এর বিভিন্ন ব্যবহার লক্ষণীয় যেমন-রান্নাবান্না, ভেষজগুণ এবং আধ্যাত্মিক বিষয়েও এদের কদর রয়েছে। বাংলাদেশে থানকুনি পাতা একটি অন্যতম ভেষজ উদ্ভিদ। আয়ুর্বেদিক, প্রাচীন আফ্রিকীয়, চৈনিকসহ অনেক দেশের চিকিৎসাবিদ্যায় এর বহুল ব্যবহার আছে।
