Kunstschlosserin

Scherl Bilderdienst Vom Laboratorium an die Werkbank Immer wieder hört man heute von Fällen, in denen Frauen und Mädchen die Plätze gefallener Männer und Brüder einnehemen, um so das Lebenswerk der Toten fortzusetzen. Auch Hildegard E. ist ohne zu zögern in die Bresche gesprungen, als eines Tages die Nachricht eintraf, das ihr einzigerr Bruder an der Front gefallen sei. Für sie stand es fest, daß das Lebenswerk des Vaters, ein großes Metallkontruktionswerk, das ursprünglich der Gefallenen fortführen sollte, nicht in fremde Hände fallen dürfte. Und so gab sie, die als medizinische Assistentin im Kaiser-Wilhelm-Institut beschäftigt war, ihre dortige Arbeit auf, um in der Meisterschule des gestaltenden Handwerks sich in einer dreijährigen Lehre als Bau- und Kunstschlosserin die Kenntnisse anzueignen, die sie als zukünftige Betriebsführerin benötigt. U.B.z.: Die meiste Zeit des Tages gehört den Rüstungsaufträgen, die die Lehrlinge der Meisterschule mit Fleiß und Gewissenhaftigkeit ausführen. Erst wenn diese bewältigt sind, können sie ihre eigenen Ideen und Entwürfe in die Tat umsetzen. Hier entsteht ein handgeschmiedeter Hoheitsadler.
