Invented in 1803 by Ph. Gengembre and made in 1831 by J.F. Saulnier (according to inscriptions).


Partial view of a coining press. This model is called Austerlitz because the first machines of this kind were made in 1807 by melting the cannons captured from the Russian army at the Battle of Austerlitz.
