English: Greek, Attic, black-figure, ca. 500 BC. Said to be from Attica. Attributed to the Sappho Painter. Shows Helios (the sun) rising in his quadriga (4-horse chariot); above, Nyx (Night) driving away to the left and Eos (the goddess of dawn) to the right; Herakles offering sacrifice at altar.
Español: Lecito de figuras negras (circa 500 a. C.). Atribuido al Pintor de Safo. Representa al dios Helios ascendiendo en su cuadriga (el Sol naciente). Encima Nix (la noche) se aleja hacia la izquierda y Eos (la aurora) hacia la derecha. Heracles ofrece sacrificios en un altar.
