English: Valentinianus III. AD 425-455.
AV Solidus (4.40 g, 6h). Mediolanum (Milan) mint. Struck 430-440/455 AD.
D N PLA VALENTINIANVS P F AVG, Rosette-diademed, draped, and cuirassed bust right
VICTOR-IA AVGGG, Valentinian standing facing, right foot on human-headed serpent, holding long cross and Victory: in field M-D; in exergue COMOB.

RIC X 2025; Cohen 19, Depeyrot 20/2.
Near EF, obverse struck with slightly rusty die.
