Hydrodynamic Bearing Demonstration Rig. This demonstration consists of a hand-cranked see-through acrylic bearing with water flow representing air. As the journal rotates, a fluid film is formed between the sliding surfaces. The faster the journal rotates, the more load can be supported when you or a colleague press down on the torque arm at the top of the display cabinet.

The Stößenseebrücke is a street-bridge of the Heerstraße over the lake Stößensee (river Havel back water) and the Havelchaussee in Berlin-Wilhelmstadt, Borough Spandau, at the border to Westend, Borough Charlottenburg-Wilmersdorf. It was built in 1908/1909 according to the plans of the construction engineer Karl Bernhard.
